之前去过了康熙盛世的展览，就觉得他是一代伟大的君王。

看了《康熙王朝》后更觉得如此。

他年少就丧失父顺治皇帝，母佟妃。

八岁即位，十四岁亲政的他，是由他的祖母，孝庄太后一手抚养长大。

在他在位的六十年中，他剿灭了作乱朝政的鳌拜，撤除三藩，平定与收复台湾，剿灭葛尔丹。

我认为他的伟大在于他不止是一个才智双全的皇帝，

而是他为了大清朝的兴旺牺牲了自己所爱的至亲和妃子！

对清朝历史有兴趣的朋友不要错过这部由陈道明和斯琴高娃所主演的《康熙王朝》。

Daniel and Fengling's ROM

I attended Daniel and Fengling's( Ben's bro and dasao) engagement ceremony yesterday.

It was held on Long Ranger ( shippy name).

I feel happy for them!! And once again, I was quite touched by what they said during the solemnisation ceremony.

Haha.. Just like Ms Lin's!

It was an enjoyable day!

I met a disgusting woman today!

haha.. looks so pretty but her actions totally put me off my chair..

now, let me narrate..

i was on bus 184.. on my way to tuition..

the bus was crawling plus i wasn't fully awake yet..

decided to take out my mp3 so i turn back to my bag..

TO MY HORROR..

I saw this lady sitting 2 seats back plucking her armpit hair!!

and there was a guy sitting beside her la! omg..

that lady was in office wear and she was carrying a branded bag somemore..

Since she wear until nice nice and use nice stuff shows she cares about how pple look at her lo.

How can she PLUCK ARMPIT HAIR ON A PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND BESIDE A GUY SOMEMORE!

???? someone enlighten me pls..

Anyway.. i attended shirley's bdae party too. So paiseh that i had to leave early..

1st handmade bracelet

Haha.. maybe it isn't good but i'll continue in hope to make better ones.

Anyway.. i gave them to my cousin as her birthday present (=

Anyway.. I just came back from KL on monday. It was a relaxing trip. But i came to realise that things in KL are not cheap at all. I sang karaoke on sunday at a rate of RM46 per pax which is equivalent to SGD19. This is cheaper than kbox.. but not that cheap either. And i had a big bowl of sliced fish noodles forr RM12 which is equivalent to SGD5. Not that cheap either. I bought 7 decorative charms at RM3 each. Also not that cheap. Hai. But the happy part is i get to see my younger cousins.. still as cute as ever! I visited my granny too.. She so skinny and weak.. See already also very xintong. And when my parents give her angbao she insist in giving to us(bros and i) instead. Hai. Always wun think for herself.. Once again, xintong is the word.

On the lighter note, i met up with connie, yc and albert for MJ session. Played with yc's bro too.. Haha.. the one we call jay chou since sec sch days.. And he still look like jaychou now -_- hahaha.

my holidays..

One month of holidays has officially passed!

Other than meeting up with my friends, going out with my family and loved ones and giving tuitions.. I managed to read some books and complete two drama serials. I always complain that I have no time for storybooks.. I'm glad I have now! Haha.. I think both books are pretty inspiring and I think you guys should go read it! The " Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" is a book on how a couple can get along better when they realise the difference between men and women in general. Haha. And "Rich dad, Poor dad" is a famous book teaching one the correct mindsets to seeing money and investments. I shall share more when I'm free. As for the dramas, I would recommend the korean show. I think it is on par if not nicer than the taiwan version of 流星花园. It's a must watch for people for likes 流星花园.

stupid jeans

The day started well when i met ben for lunch and went down to his workplace.

We met michelle and i accompanied MC to ROM after that. She needs to get a marriage cert on her dad's behalf. The place closes at 5pm and we reached Dhoby Ghaut at 440pm without knowing how to get to ROM!! Haha! Luckily we can read maps.. And to our horror, ROM is far far away from the Mrt station and we had to climb slopes and stairs! Haiyo.. so old le.. but no choice. We had to run due to the time.. What an experience for my first time at ROM. Thought it would be a nice one. Lol.Luckily we reached before it closes. That's for the first part. Upon reaching home and while bathing.. I realised that my stupid $10 jeans still 脱色after washing it twice. And the best part is.. my whole lower body is almost blue. WTF. Naturally I was very pissed. So... I went to handwash it.. I scurb and scurb and scrub inside out, rinsed in three buckets full of water.. And in the end.. THE WATER IS STILL DARK BLUE! Argh.. FED UP TOTALLY. Well.. i thought the colour only comes off when u first wash it.. but apparently it isn't. Haha.. your hand turns blue if you rub your hands against e jeans. Hai. So because of this i actually sacrifaced one new undies. Cause it turn blue too after whole day of wearing the jeans. -__-" This is the first and last time i am ever buying a $10 jeans.

Pissed.

First week of hols!

I actually visited the museum!!

Haha! I think i deserve a pat on my shoulder for being so "cultured"!
Hm.. singing praises to myself..Abit bu yao lian..
Nah.. Actually i visited the Asian Civilisation Museum (ACM) for the Emperor KangXi Exhibition康熙盛世。I didn't know that NUS students are entitled free admission.. so that was a bonus! Haha..but poor dear had to fork out $8 for it.. Oops.. But cannot complain k.. I treated you lunch plus bubble tea!! haha..
The exhibits were fairly interesting.. But i was amazed by the length of the painting to describe KangXi's birthday celebration. It was actually 80m long and they only managed to display 10m. Whahaha.. And the painting skill was very fine i would say. "Ben even said he wanna steal it home" -_-'' I was also surprised to learn that they already had calculators, set square, ruler,arc etc at that point of time. But of course what we have today are the already very fine-tune versions. Generally apart from that I thought the rest was just okay..

Oh yea.. you get to tour the other exhibits displayed at the other parts of the museum too..

bdae celebration!

The dragons had an early bdae celebration for weeling and shumin.

We had our dinner at a vegetarian restaurant- Miao Yi Vegetarian Restaurant.

Their signature dish was vegetarian roasted pork eaten the way you would eat a Peking Roasted Duck. Haha.. interesting hybrid.. Actually i really thank you all for bringing forward the date. And also a big thank you for the sumptuous dinner!

Lab ended especially early today! And today's lab marks the last lab of the semester! HUrray! Though i thought lab is fun, the idea of travelling to Sci and submitting lab report every week makes it less appealing! I met Shihui at Bugis and after buying what need, we went window shopping as we had quite some time before meeting the rest. We actually walked from Bugis to Little India -_- Haha. That's pretty commendable! We were quite bored and that explains for the pictures below!
